My cell phone is important to me in the following ways. First, it is my personal camera and voice recorder. When I need to remember the titles of some magazines, for example, I usually use my cell phone to take pictures of them or record my voice reading them instead of writing them down on paper. Second, it is my electronic book reader. I usually enjoy nonfiction on the train on my way to and from school. However, I don’t always need it, and maybe I could go a whole day without using it. Originally, it was a communication tool, but I’ve never sent or received any absolutely necessary information with it. (１１１語）
Disagree 携帯電話なしで丸１日過ごせない
My cell phone is one of the most important things to me in the following ways. I use it every day to send or receives e-mails. Also, I like it as a useful recorder of schedules, pictures, or sounds. But its biggest function may be to make people feel more secure. However far apart we are from the most reliable people to us — our families or close friends — we are connected to them through our cell phones. Just the thought that we can ask them for help whenever we run across any trouble gives us some peace of mind. That’s why I could never go a whole day without it. （１０８語）
