「つかむ」には何かを「手に取る」程度から、「がっちり握る」ことまでさまざまある。英語の言い方を覚えておきましょう。

「つかむ」|「take」は手で取る、つかむ

take は（手で）取る、つかむという意味を表すときに使われる最も一般的な語。

読書の時間。　　The student took a book from the shelf.    (学生は棚から本を取りました)
